The Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians is the health regulatory body for all Opticians in Nova Scotia. The College is responsible for regulating Opticians in the public interest through registration, licensing, continuing education, and the establishment of a professional code of conduct in accordance with the Dispensing Opticians Act of Nova Scotia.

In order to fulfill our legislated mandate, The Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians is accepting submissions for the position of committee member for the following committees:

Complaints Committee

Professional Conduct Committee

Registration Committee

In the interest of the public it is important that all voices are heard therefore we ask for contribution from the Nova Scotia community and require at least one member of each committee to be a non-member who is not an Optician and is not registered with the Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians.
